Ohio River Vision and Strategic Plan Hosts Community Open House
The Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District, working with the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership and other partners, will be guiding the first ever Ohio River Vision and Strategic Plan working with Sasaki, a global leader in landscape architecture. This master planning document will help our region better understand public and private development opportunities along the Ohio Riverfront from Mt. Vernon to Newburgh Indiana.
Sasaki was selected from a group of other esteemed firms following a posting of a request for proposals. More information will be coming soon on public input sessions, plan website, and other ways for the public to be involved.

The first community open house was held Friday, July 14th at the Pagoda. The Ohio River Vision and Strategic Plan is being led by the Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District, the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership, and Sasaki, an interdisciplinary architecture, planning, landscape, and design firm.
